LabRat Animation is a Costa Rica based creative studio founded in 2023, built on more than 10 years of professional experience in animation and digital production. We specialize in high-end 2D and 3D animation and 3D product rendering.
Our 3D work covers modeling, shading, animation, and rendering, while our 2D pipeline runs from animatic to final delivery, always driven by creativity, technical precision, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

What We Do ?

At Lab Rat Animation, we deliver high end 2D and 3D animation from concept to final frame, covering every stage of the pipeline including design, layout, modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, compositing, and 2D FX, with consistent visual quality throughout.We specialize in frame by frame, cut out, hybrid, and fully three dimensional workflows, always adapting our approach to the creative and technical needs of each project.Our 2D and 3D teams work in close collaboration. Principles of motion, timing, and shape flow naturally between disciplines, while our artists bring hand painted textures, stylized surfaces, and strong visual fundamentals into both pipelines.We also produce animation, assets, and visual effects fully prepared and optimized for real time use in game engines.
